DUNEDIN - Captain Morgan was missing for
a foursome Tuesday night at Tropicana Field's Patio Bar
during the Ray's 2-1 win over the Red Sox.
Yes fans, these regulars at the Ray's games
as of late felt slighted when they ordered four Captain
and Cokes ($30.00 total) and received four non-alcoholic
beverages.
Now since it was approaching the seventh
inning when this happened, the bartender might have felt
he could short a customer or two to make up for the extras
he might have poured earlier in the game. Well he messed
with the wrong foursome.
You see fans one young lady present is
a professional bartender and saw the shortage, questioning
the bartender.
"He said it was Absolute he put in not
Captain," said the young lady who didn't want her name mentioned,
"And I can tell you it wasn't there, it was Sprite."
Well fans the gentlemen called the bartender
on his indiscretion but he would not budge, so the disgruntled
customer referred to the bartender as an "Ass Wipe."
Unfortunately, a wrong move by the cheated
customer as a St. Petersburg police officer was right behind
him along with a sergeant of the force.
To make a long story short, the shorted
individual was issued a trespass ticket not allowing him
to attend Wednesday's night’s game.
He could have cared less as he didn't plan on attending
in any event.
