Lightning website to bring fans behind scenes while in Europe

TAMPA BAY – The official web site of the Tampa Bay Lightning, tampabaylightning.com, will be the source for all Lightning fans looking for behind the scenes information and multi-media as the team travels through Europe. Tampa Bay will play two exhibition games against Eisbaren Berlin and HC Slovan before opening the NHL regular season against the New York Rangers on October 4 (Sun Sports, AM 620 WDAE) and 5 (VERSUS, AM 620 WDAE).

Featured on the web site during the team’s travels will be photo galleries and a photo blog from Lightning team photographer Scott Audette. The Lightning Insider will also be filing his daily reports of everything going on with the team behind the scenes. Lightning TV will feature numerous behind the scenes features, player interviews, coverage of Lightning fan events and more with new Lightning web host Megan Bradley.

Bright House subscribers can also check out Catch 47 each night to see Joe Girvan's reports from Prague, Berlin, and Bratislava. Girvan and photojournalist Efrem Sanchez will be with the Lightning every step of the way on the complete European trip as well as St. Petersburg Times beat writer Damian Cristodero.
